Jane O'Donnell
Jane S. O'Donnell, 92, of Ellwood City, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2025.
Born July 18, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Rafferty) Schell.
Jane was a member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She worked for Erie Insurance before retiring in 2001 after 21 years of service. She had devoted her time volunteering at the Cranberry Senior Center and the Northland Library. She was also an avid reader, being the first librarian for the Cranberry Public Library.
Jane leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Patricia A. Dickerson (Rob), Charles J. O’Donnell (Ann), Shawn O’Donnell and Jane E. McDonald; her 11 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Charles J. Schell (Beth).
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. O’Donnell; her daughter, Maureen Bunting; and her grandchildren, Sarah McKelvey and Scott Bunting.
O’DONNELL — Family and friends of Jane S. O’Donnell, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
Jane will be laid to rest at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
