Byers

Betty L. Byers, 91, of Jefferson Township, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at Magnolia Place in Saxonburg.

Betty attended Grace Way Community Church in Butler.

She was the mother of Randall Byers (Christine) of Butler; Roger Byers of Saxonburg; William Byers (Patricia) of Spring, Texas; Susan Byers Zitzman (Frank) of Hebron, Ky.; and Douglas Byers (Terri) of Boerne, Texas.

Betty had 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; and she was the oldest of 12 children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. Byers; one son, Bruce Byers; and one grandson, Troy D. Zitzman.

BYERS — Private burial for Betty L. Byers, who died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
