Robert George Kuhn, 77, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, in Butler.

He was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Butler.

Bob, as he was known to many, graduated from Butler High School in 1965 and began his education at West Virginia University. He was then drafted to serve in the army during the Vietnam conflict and was honorably discharged. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Geneva College before earning a master’s degree in human resources from La Roche University.

A dedicated transportation specialist, Bob was employed at Castle Rubber as a manager and later at Butler Area Rural Transit (BART). He took great pleasure in helping people in need, always ensuring they were able to have safe quality transportation to help them get around town as needed.

He was a proud member of the YMCA and St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church. An avid runner, Bob made working out a priority and was known for his amazing work ethic.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Andrea Beabout; his children, Kristen Kuhn, Corie Kuhn Harbaugh and Robyn Kuhn Bellaji; his five grandchildren, Alexander Kuhn, Connor Bellaji, Jadyn Bellaji, Zachary Harbaugh and Jacob Harbaugh; and one great-grandchild, Finn Harbaugh.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George Kuhn and Leona Steighner Kuhn; and his siblings, Marjorie Ann Kuhn Blum and Donald Kuhn. He is survived by his sister, Georgia M. Kuhn Cherry.

KUHN — Arrangements for Robert George Kuhn, who died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A private family service will be held.
