Patricia Curtis
Patricia Regina Curtis, 65, of Cranberry Township, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2025.
Born Nov. 7, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Jenkin Curtis and Russell W. Curtis.
Patricia was a Seneca Valley graduate and attended Median School to become a veterinarian technician. She found her calling with animals and grooming pets and opened Reigning Cats & Dogs. In 1979, Pat began breeding basset hounds and participating in obedience classes and confirmation, she had over 30 titled basset hounds. She loved music, animals, historical trips, was very religious and, most of all, was dedicated to her family. She will always be remembered and dearly missed.
She is survived by three siblings, Mary Ann Curtis, James R. Curtis and Terry L. Curtis and his wife, Laura; five nieces and nephews, Cameo Curtis, Philip Curtis, Christopher Curtis, Janine Cavanaugh and Alana Lawrence; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Brent Jones, Melody Jones, Cameron Jones, Kathryn Curtis, Jeffery Curtis, Johnathan Majcan, Amy Majcan and Wyatt Curtis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Curtis; her nephew, Nathan Curtis; and her great-nephew, Arron Jones.
CURTIS — Friends and family of Patricia Regina Curtis, who died Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main Street, Evans City.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
Pat will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pat’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Droopy Basset Hound Rescue of Western Pennsylvania Inc., 15581 Stewart Hill Road, Union City, PA 16438.
