Joan Mary Heasley, 79, of Grove City, formerly of Manor, Pa., passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at Quality Life Services — Grove City.

She was born Jan. 25, 1946, to the late James Wilson and Anne Slater Wilson in Philadelphia. Joan married Kenneth Francis Heasley in February of 1965 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2012.

Joan was a graduate of Hempfield High School and was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and was faithful in her daily devotionals and prayers. She was a dedicated and caring nursing home aide at Concordia in Irwin for many years.

Survivors include sons, Joseph (Beverly) Heasley of Slippery Rock, Eric (Margie) Heasley of Glenshaw, Pa., and Steven Heasley of Jamestown, N.Y.; brother, Philip (Patti) Wilson of Fort Washington, Md.; sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson of Saltsburg, Pa.; nieces, Meredith (Welton) Chang, Delanie Wilson and Jessica Sheffler; nephews, Adam (Jess) Wilson, Michael Wilson and Joshua (Madelyn) Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Garret and Hannah Heasley; great-nieces, Petra and Adalynn; great-nephews, Apollo, Gavin and Nolan; and great-granddaughter, Riley.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wilson.

HEASLEY — Family of Joan Mary Heasley, who died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

Interment will take place at Brush Creek Cemetery in Irwin, Westmoreland County.
