Elizabeth Anne “Liz” Hartman, 61, of Valencia, passed peacefully at her home Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born Nov. 19, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Liz was the beloved daughter of Beth McCabe. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, George McCabe; beloved Anna Belle O’Toole, B.J. Satterfield, JD Satterfield, and Kitty and Max Lynch; and other loved ones, who no doubt welcomed her with open arms.

Liz is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 25 years, Alan Hartman; her loving mother, Beth; her sister, Tracey Satterfield; her sister-in-law, Ginny (Terry) Schneider; and her cherished nieces, nephews and godchildren. Liz shared a particularly close bond with her nephew, Terry (Ashley) Schneider, and his family. She also leaves behind countless extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched immeasurably. A heartfelt thank you goes to the neighbors and friends who walked beside her through every step of her journey — Trudie, Cheryl and Holly, among many others.

To know Liz was to be uplifted. Her presence had a quiet strength and radiant warmth that made others feel seen, heard and loved. She carried herself with grace and kindness, inspiring all who crossed her path.

Liz’s life was a beautiful balance of professional excellence, deep relationships and everyday joys. She lived with integrity, purpose and boundless love. Her laughter could lift a room, and her wisdom was a light to many.

Liz’s true passions shone brightly. She found peace in the beauty of her home, her koi pond and her serene backyard — where she loved watching birds and wildlife. Her faithful black lab, Bear, and her cats, Mick and Chicken, were her constant companions and a source of daily joy.

Liz was a talented cook and avid canner, but what she cherished most was entertaining. She was the ultimate hostess — gracious, generous and full of warmth. Her gatherings brought people together and made everyone feel special. Giving wasn’t something she did — it was who she was.

A woman of drive, heart and talent, Liz co-owned and managed United Mining Equipment Inc. for 14 successful years. She later pursued a distinguished career in real estate, becoming a Multi-Million Dollar Producer, Champions Club member, and recipient of 5-Star Customer Service recognition. Liz held certifications including RRS and CNE, and was an active member of the National, Pennsylvania, and Pittsburgh associations of Realtors, as well as the West Penn Multi-List.

HARTMAN — Services to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Anne “Liz” Hartman, who died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Visitation will take place from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7:30 p.m., with a special remembrance from 7:30 to 8 p.m. for those wishing to share memories, blessings or stories.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Liz’s memory to the Howard Hanna Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund (Cranberry Office).
