There were a couple of firsts Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Danny Kuriger picked up a Sprint Car feature victory on the dirt track for the first time in two years, and Dalton Slack won his first career race at the Action Track in the Big Block Modified main event.

Kuriger’s victory puts him in third in the season’s points standings behind Butler native Carl Bowser, who finished fourth Friday night, and leader A.J. Flick, who finished third in the race. Mike Walter II came in second, and Carmen Perigo Jr. finished fifth to round out the Top 5.

Slack’s first win came over the modified points leader Ken Schaltenbrand, who finished second, and Michael Norris, Tyler Dietz and Braeden Dillinger to finish out the Top 5.

Alex Ferree won Friday’s Late Model feature, and Chris Schneider claimed the checkered flag in the Pro Stocks main event.

Lernerville hosts another Dirt.TV 3-Wide on Sunday evening before Fab4 racing returns Aug. 8.
