Moraine Regatta again offering two days of water-related fun
Moraine State Park’s Regatta will offer a diverse range of activities on both land and water Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, with activities Saturday’s going on from 10 a.m.to 9 p.m.
Activities include watercraft challenges, races and demonstrations, along with live music and entertainment, children’s activities, nature tours and demonstrations by park staff and plenty of food and beverages.
Since its start in 1998, the Moraine State Park Regatta “aims to showcase eco-recreational activities for all ages and to promote Moraine State Park,” according to the event’s official website.
About 20,000 people are expected to make a splash and walk the shore of Lake Arthur over the weekend, and more than 100 community organizations will be vendors there to provide for those thousands of people.
