Christopher Schmidt, 47, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

He was born in Flint, Mich. on Sept. 11, 1977, to the late Michelle (Kirby) Schmidt.

Christopher attended Slippery Rock High School and Butler County Community College. He enjoyed playing his guitars and going to the gym. Christopher was a collector of anything and everything, and especially loved Jimi Hendrix. Most of all, he was extremely proud of and loved his children deeply.

He was the father of Jeremiah Schmidt and Sydni Haskin.

SCHMIDT — All arrangements for Christopher Schmidt, who died Tuesday, July 15, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
