Butler man hit by SUV while riding scooter identified
Police have identified the Butler man who was struck by an SUV Tuesday, July 29, while riding a scooter in Butler Township.
The man on the scooter, James Jack, 44, was taken by Butler Ambulance Service to be flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after the crash reported at 4:36 p.m., according to Butler Township police.
Jack was traveling north in the southbound lane of North Main Street Extension when he was struck by the SUV driven by Donna O’Day, 57, of Butler, which was turning out of Armstrong Place.
The Butler City and Butler Township fire departments also responded to the scene.
