Dorothea F. “Dottie” LaSalle, 101, of Grove City, passed peacefully on Tuesday evening, July 22, 2025, following a brief illness.

Dottie was born in Coolspring Township, Mercer County, on May 16, 1924, and was the daughter to Herbert and Bessie (Hause) Miller. She married Scott R. Fisher; who preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Robert H. LaSalle; he preceded her in death on May 17, 2009.

She was a graduate of Fredonia Delaware High School in 1942. Dottie retired from United Community Hospital, where she was an X-ray tech assistant, beginning her career at the former Bashline Hospital.

She was an active member of East Main Presbyterian while living in Grove City and with Grace Methodist Church while living in Lake Mary, Fla.

Her life motto was “Let go; Let God” and she was active in her Bible study group in Florida. She volunteered with various organizations and committees and loved to help others whenever needed. She treasured working in her yard and flower garden, and spending time with friends and family.

Dottie is survived by a son, Richard (Debra) Fisher, of Grove City; a stepdaughter, Darla Krestesy, of Jefferson, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jesse (Alli) Fisher, Maggie (Andrew) Worline, Beau (Melissa) Fisher, Kirk (Diane) Fennell and Stephanie White; two stepgrandchildren, Jason (Erika) Spang and Kim (Rob) Budny; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a daughter, Terry Ann McNany; and a stepdaughter, Pat Stull.

LASALLE — Friends of Dorothea F. “Dottie” LaSalle, who died Tuesday, July 22, 2025, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, Grove City.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Bethal Cemetery, Delaware Township, Mercer County.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dottie’s memory to Grace Church, 499 N. Country Club Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746
