Cranberry Township police host bike rodeo

The Cranberry Township Police Department are hosting the annual bike rodeo on Aug. 2 to teach bike safety rules to all ages.
The rodeo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cranberry Township Community Park at 111 Ernie Mashuda Drive. Riders will be able to test their skills on an obstacle course designed to simulate biking on roads, with educational pit stops throughout the course.
Police officers and volunteers will be teaching safety tips, such as how to use hand signals while biking, as well as providing free helmet fittings and bike inspections.
