Patricia A. Tarcha, 82, of Butler, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

Born Jan. 28, 1943, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John E. Piroch and Josephine L. Swaja Piroch.

Patricia graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1960 and attended Slippery Rock College. She had been employed as a secretary/receptionist at Lifesteps, Butler County Community College and St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, and retired from the Butler Area School District.

Patricia was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Butler Hospital Auxiliary, Sisters in Faith at St. Fidelis, the Sunrise Bowling League and the Meridian Vets Auxiliary.

Patricia is survived by one son, Brian Tarcha and his wife, Rosanne, of Brunswick, Ohio; four daughters, Michelle Huff and her husband, Kurt, of Butler, Sharon Tokarski and her husband, Joseph, of Butler, Erin Griess and her husband, Gregory, of Mansfield, Pa., and Rebecca Cramer and her husband, Kevin, of Cranberry Township; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John R. Tarcha, whom she married Feb. 8, 1964, and who passed away Sept. 26, 2017.

The Tarcha family extends a special thank you to the staff of Newhaven Court at Clearview and Suncrest Hospice for their compassion, support and care of Patricia.

TARCHA — Friends of Patricia A. Tarcha, who died Saturday, July 19, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, Downtown, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev. John J. Baver officiating.

Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.
