Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
July 4 — Patrick J. Mellon, 36, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of disorderly conduct and simple assault following a July 3 incident. Police said Mellon punched a woman in the face and grabbed her wrist.
July 5 — Zakary A. White, 29, of Duncan, Okla., was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI following a July 5 crash. Police said White showed signs of impairment.
July 7 — Courtney L. Maynard, 44, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a May 9 incident. Police said Maynard threw a mug at a woman.
July 7 — Alyssa J. Fulton, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 26 incident. Police said Fulton kicked a woman in the face.
July 8 — Diane C. Ratay, 63, of Evans City, was charged with three felony counts of retail theft following incidents on May 30, June 17 and June 25. Police said Ratay stole $197.03 in merchandise from Target over the three incidents.
July 9 — Demarcus P. Jordan, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony access device fraud following an Aug. 8, 2024, incident. Police said Jordan made an unauthorized charge of $1,600.
July 7 — Steven D. Goodman, 61, of Zelienople, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 18 crash. Police said Goodman tested positive for marijuana and had a blood alcohol content of 0.141%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
July 3 — Theresa L. Dlugopolski, 57, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a July 2 incident in Jefferson Township. Police said Dlugopolski was yelling expletives and racial slurs in the street and refused to stop.
July 7 — Gilbert I. Lehotsky, 30, of McDonald, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 25 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Lehotsky had a blood alcohol content of 0.192%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
July 7 — Trenton J. Tompkins, 39, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 15 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Tompkins had bags containing an off-white powder and black tar-like substance and tested positive for fentanyl and methamphetamine.
July 8 — Jason M. Columbus, 41, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 7 crash in Slippery Rock. Police said Columbus had a blood alcohol content of 0.16%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
