Youth rugby clinic to be held at Pullman Recreation Complex: Here’s what to know

An “Intro to Rugby” summer clinic is set to be held at Pullman Recreation Complex from August 16-17. The event is open to local boys and girls grades 6-12.
Slippery Rock University assistant coach Clint McConnell plans “starting with the ground floor” on teaching basic rugby skills, including passing, catching, kicking, tackling and rucking.
“The idea of this is to build this into a broader program,” McConnell said. “Step 1 is to create new rugby players.”
The cost for the clinic is $25. Registration ends on July 26.
