Joan “Joann” M. Campbell, 82, of Clay Township, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.

She was born Sep. 19, 1942, in Butler, as the daughter of the late Stanley and Joann (Puvak) Schultz.

Joann was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of St. Faustina Parish in West Sunbury and a longtime member of the Ladies Guild. She was a lifelong bowler and loved camping at Pymatuning. She enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

Joann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Chuck R. Campbell, whom she married Sept. 29, 1962; three sons, Chuck (Rose) Campbell Jr. of Ohioville, Pa., James (Sherry) Campbell of Butler and Brian (Amy) Campbell of Butler; and seven grandchildren, Doug and Joe, Kayla (Jacob), Kirkland and Cambrie, and Madison and Taylor. She is also survived by three sisters, Donna (Paul) McCue, Sandy Temoshenko and Shirley Harrison; two brothers, William (Sarah) Schultz and Stanley (Shirley) Shultz Jr.; sister-in-law, Sue Schultz; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, Michael “Tom” Schultz; and an infant sister, Patty.

CAMPBELL — A Catholic blessing service for Joan “Joann” M. Campbell, who died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, with Father Sean Francis officiating. Visitation will follow the blessing service until 1 p.m.

Burial will be held privately at West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
