VA Butler Healthcare System is hosting two training sessions to educate enrolled and eligible veterans, their families and caregivers about filing a Beneficiary Travel reimbursement claim.

VA beneficiary travel reimburses eligible veterans and caregivers for mileage to and from VA and non-VA authorized appointments. The education sessions will help Veterans, their families and caregivers navigate program eligibility requirements, how to complete and file claims and the possible reasons a claim might be denied or partially paid. Instructions on filing a claim will be provided along with an opportunity to engage with staff one-on-one.

Sessions are offered in the second floor of the auditorium at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center located at 353 N. Duffy Road. Sessions are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 25 and Aug. 15.
