Anna Sheridan

Anna Lois (Deer) Sheridan, 95, of Slippery Rock, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

Born Nov. 19, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Nelander Deer.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. She will be remembered for baking Christmas cookies and crocheting dish cloths.

Anna is survived by her children, Phyllis (William) Patterson of Slippery Rock, Thomas (Linda) Sheridan of Gainesville, Fla., Denise Sheridan of Slippery Rock and Cindy Sheridan of Beaver Falls; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Joy, Gregory Patterson, Megan (Sean) Davitt and John Sheridan; and great-grandchildren, Henry Patterson, Jack Davitt and Claire Davitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ida Forsythe, Russell Deer and Betty Gaydos.

SHERIDAN — Visitation for Anna Lois (Deer) Sheridan, who died Monday, July 7, 2025, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ben Oesterling, pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, officiating.

Interment in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
