Cecil David Dischman
Cecil David Dischman, 87, formerly of Harmony, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Country Manor Personal Care Home in Kittanning.
He was born on Aug. 25, 1937, in Pittsburgh, the son of Cecil and Louise (Kobylinski) Dischman.
David was a lifelong resident of Harmony and a devoted member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Church, in Zelienople. He was a skilled contractor and mason and was self-employed for many years before retiring in 2008 from Seneca Valley School District. In his younger years, David was known for his singing and love of hunting. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he was a proud season ticket holder who hated to miss a game.
His memory will be cherished by his sons, Gregory Dischman of Pittsburgh and Douglas Dischman of Harlansburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Elisabeth, Theodore, Rebecca, Benjamin, Kasey and Jeremy; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Rita Ann (Sniadach) Dischman, whom he married on Sept. 19, 1959, and who passed away on Aug. 4, 2014; and a son, Matthew Dischman.
