Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 27 — Mackenzie Paige Peters, 29, of Butler, was charged with felony hindering apprehension following a June 5 incident. Police said Peters had a man wanted by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office in her basement.
June 27 — Chad William Finucan, 41, of Butler, was charged with felony flight to avoid apprehension and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 26 incident. Police said Finucan ran from police, had three used stamp bags of heroin and three hypodermic needles.
June 26 — David Michael Kennedy, 64, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and one misdemeanor count of accident involving damage following a May 4 crash. Police said Kennedy left the scene of a crash and had a blood alcohol content of 0.111%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 30 — Candace Ellen Corvi, 34, of Fenelton, was charged with one misdemeanor count of dogs not validly registered and three misdemeanor counts of failure to comply with dog laws following a June 27 incident in Clearfield Township. Police said Corvi failed to register a dangerous dog and have it insured, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
June 30 — Payge Elise Linkenheimer, 29, of Harmony, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor controlled substance possession following a May 29 traffic stop. Police said Linkenheimer had a bag of several pills, tested positive for clonazepam and had a blood alcohol content of 0.291%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 26 — Neil Richard Kurowski, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a June 19 crash. Police said Kurowski crashed into a vehicle and left the scene.
June 29 — Police investigated an indecent exposure incident regarding two juveniles March 25 at Summit Academy in Summit Township. The investigation is ongoing.
June 29 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Chicora Road in Donegal Township. Police said the Kia Seltos of Jessica L. Campbell, 27, of Kittanning, was stopped, making a right turn into a driveway when she was rear-ended by a 17-year-old male, of Parker, in a Ford Explorer. Campbell was transported by East Butler Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries. Chicora Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
June 30 — Lisa A. Wenzel, 54, of Renfrew, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count of driving outside the lane following a June 6 incident in Forward Township. Police said Wenzel showed signs of impairment.
June 30 — Cynthia Ann Sadler, 62, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a May 26 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Sadler had a small amount of marijuana in a glass jar.
June 30 — Laverne L. Wissinger, 68, of Saxonburg, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 9 traffic stop in Jefferson Township. Police said Wissinger had a blood alcohol content of 0.087%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 30 — Benjamin Amos Mauthe, 41, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault, harassment and resisting arrest following a June 28 incident in Center Township. Police said Mauthe struck a woman in the head, grabbed her arm and resisted officers’ attempts to detain him.
July 1 — Kelsey Elizabeth Simons, 24, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia possession following a May 2 incident in Center Township. Police said Simons had a suspected crack pipe and tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine.
July 1 — Eric James Easley, 30, of Bruin, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 16 crash in Donegal Township. Police said Easley tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.132%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 26 — Kristen Nicole Leroy, 38, of Cabot, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of false identification to law enforcement, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 5 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Leroy gave a false last name and had a glassine bag with powder.
