Jeffrey Foringer
Jeffery L. Foringer, 67, of Karns City, died Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home.
Born Sept. 21, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of John A. and Kathryn G. (Dietz) Foringer.
A 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, Jeff served as an infantryman with heavy anti-armor weapons. Upon his retirement, Jeff worked for 22 years at 84 Lumber in Butler.
Jeff could be found at home, restoring old cars, remodeling homes, working on puzzle books and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sonia R. (Switzer) Foringer, whom he married March 26, 1977; one son, Timothy (Misty) Foringer of Butler; and one daughter, Kathryn L. Foringer of Karns City.
He also is survived by four grandchildren, Aaron Foringer, Anthony Foringer, Mason Bradley and Bentley Wilhelm; one step-grandchild, Azaria Johns; two brothers, John (Barbara) Foringer of Clarks Mills and Terry (Emma) Foringer of Bruin; and one brother-in-law, Bill Jorinscay of Kennerdell.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Lisa Jorinscay.
FORINGER — Friends of Jeffery L. Foringer, who died Sunday, June 29, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.
Interment will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery.
