U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, will be joined by officials from the Federal Trade Commission and FBI in a telephone town hall at 6:30 p.m. July 8 to help residents fight fraud, stop scams and offer ways to protect your personal information.

In April, the FBI released its annual internet crime report, which revealed scammers stole more than $16 billion from Americans in 2024, a 33% increase from 2023.
