Reese

Barbara (Hockenberry) Reese, 62, of West Sunbury, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

She was born in Grove City on Sept. 26, 1962, to the late Frank and Sarah (Christy) Hockenberry.

Barbara loved spending time with family and friends and was affectionately known as “Nana” and “Bubba.” She will always be remembered for the love she showed to all and she cared so much for everyone. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, card games, watching TV and making crafts.

She was the mother of Mindy (Reese) Metheney and Mike (Kayla) Reese; sister of Carla Wagner, Lori Roxberry, BJ Wickline and Michelle Albert; and grandmother of Dalton and Lizzy Metheney, and Sophia and Aleigha Reese. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who will all miss her dearly.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Eddy Hockenberry.
