St. Barnabas Charities is hosting its 34th annual Free Care 5K run on Aug. 2, at its Gibsonia campus on Meridian Road.

The route of the race will take runners south on Meridian Road, back north on Meridian Road, followed by a right turn onto Medical Center Drive where the finish line is located. The race will be followed by a postrace party emceed by Jay Kline of WLER 97.7 The Rock.

The top three male and female race finishers will receive cash prizes of $250 to the first-place male and female runners, $200 for second place and $100 for third place.
