Peggy Ellen (Gale) Hay, of Fenelton, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, of natural causes.

Peggy worked for Armco until her retirement in the late ’90s. She was known for her hard work ethic, love of gardening on her farm, and her love for her horses and her mastiffs.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Phillip L. Hay; her youngest son, Drew Hay and his wife, Gretchen; and her four grandkids, Josh Carlisle, Jordan Bold, Niven Hay and Madeline Hay.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bold; her parents, Lynn J. Gale and Ellen Gale; and her maternal mother, Dorothy Jean Holben.

HAY — All services for Peggy Ellen (Gale) Hay, who died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, will be held privately at her request.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
