A Butler comedian will return to his hometown to put on a comedy show on Friday, June 27, at the Penn Theater.

Robert Punchur is the chief operations officer of Very Good Comedy Show, a comedy group that performs regularly in New York City. He will be performing Friday evening with his touring partner, Aric Grooms. The last theater show Punchur performed in the area was in 2015 at the Butler Little Theatre.

“If it goes well, we're hoping to bring back more NYC headliners with us for regular engagements,” Punchur said.

The show takes place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Penn Theater, and tickets start at $30 each. For tickets or for more information about the show, visit the Penn Theater’s website at thepenntheater.org.
