Macoskey campers meet animal friends

Summer camp in session
Children’s summer camp opportunities at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability Education & Research on the Slippery Rock University campus range from nature learning to interacting with animals.
The live animals presentation was given to the children Monday, June 23, by April Claus, an SRU alumna who owns an environmental education business. The presentation was part of the Week 2 session, where campers learn what makes animals unique and how they contribute to the ecosystem.
The center has an annual camp series with different events based around nature and learning while having fun.
