Gregory A. Smith Sr., 70, of Chicora, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Creek Meadows personal care home in Zelienople.

He was born in Chicora Saturday, March 26, 1955, the son of David and Betty McDevitt Smith.

Gregory was employed at Castle Rubber for 30 years. He was a parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church in Chicora.

He is survived by three sons, Gregory Smith Jr., Tyler Smith and Dawson J. Smith; two sisters, Carol Kaiser and Bonnie McCollough; a brother, Thomas Smith; a granddaughter, Trinity Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Gary Hloznik IV, Brooklynn Hloznik and Ivana Hloznik.

SMITH — Family and close friends of Gregory A. Smith Sr., who died Thursday, June 19, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at THOMAS M. STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Services will be at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bill.

Interment will follow with family going to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
