Justin Konieczny

Konieczny

Justin M. Konieczny, 44, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 16, 2025.

Born March 15, 1981, in Butler, he was the son of Michael J. and Denise M. (Slupe) Konieczny.

Justin worked for Armstrong as tech support and, thanks to his love for technology, Justin was a great help to his family members who may not have been so tech savvy. His aunt, who called him her “Gentle Giant,” was grateful for his patience when he would talk her through any computer issues she had.

Justin was also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Dave Mathews Band. He loved photography and the beach, especially the Outer Banks, N.C.; but all that paled in comparison to his love for his nieces.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Katrina (Taylor) Konieczny, whom he married Sept. 17, 2005; his mother, Denise (Slupe) Konieczny; brother, Brandon (Megan) Konieczny; and two nieces.

Justin was preceded by his father, Michael J. Konieczny; and grandparents, Edward and Rose Konieczny and Bernard and Beatrice Slupe.

KONIECZNY — Friends of Justin M. Konieczny, who died Monday, June 16, 2025, will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of the blessing service at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, with Deacon Mike Kaufman officiating, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
