Judy Isovitsch
Judy A. Osche Isovitsch, 83, of Butler, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.
Judy was born in Butler on Oct. 12, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Anna Weiland Osche.
She attended St. Wendelin Roman Catholic School and Butler High School. She was a life member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church. Judy gave countless hours volunteering for the church and fundraisers for St. Wendelin’s School.
She was a devoted homemaker and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her younger days, she was a dance instructor for Arthur Murray School of Dance in Butler. She was a member of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Fryburg Sportsmen Club. She enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Kelletville, going to Las Vegas, reading, cooking and canning vegetables from their garden.
She was married to Emerick D. Isovitsch at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler on June 9, 1962. Mr. Isovitsch preceded her in death on May 1, 2025.
Surviving are three children, Jeffery L. Isovitsch and his wife, Becky, and Stephen J. Isovitsch and his wife, Kerry L., all of Tionesta, and Lisa A. Geibel and her husband, Cletus, of Butler; her grandchildren, Kirsten Kelminski (Justin) of Butler, Dillon and Alice Isovitsch of Tionesta, and Samuel Geibel (Abbygail), Elijah Geibel (Erin) and Dominic Geibel, all of Butler; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Aloisius “Dink” Osche, Robert and Frances Osche, Elizabeth and John Fitzpatrick, Emma Jean “Pete” and Harold Covert, Edward and Daisy Osche, Cecelia “Spud” and Howard “Howd” Reges, and William “Bill” and Pearl “Perk” Osche.
ISOVITSCH — Family and those closest to Judy A. Osche Isovitsch, who died Wednesday, June 18, 2025, will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at HILE FUNERAL HOME OF CHICORA, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler, with the Rev. Matt McClain, pastor of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
