William “Bill” Daw Jr., 78, of Slippery Rock, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025.

He was born in New York on Dec. 23, 1946, to the late William and Patricia Daw.

Bill completed high school in New York and immediately began serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had a long career at AK Steel until his retirement in 2020.

Bill was an avid reader of history and Western books. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.

DAW — All services for William “Bill” Daw Jr., who died Friday, June 13, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial was held privately at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
