Structure fire damages home Tuesday in Allegheny Township

Emergency crews were dispatched to a structure fire with flames reportedly shooting through the roof Tuesday, June 17, in Allegheny Township.

The call came in around 4:30 p.m. for the fire in the 900 block of Maple Furnace Road. North Washington, Eau Claire and Parker city fire departments, along with Emlenton Ambulance Service, responded to the fire. By 5:15, flames had been put out.

According to Emlenton Ambulance Service, no one was home when first responders arrived at the property.

The roof and right side of the house sustained damage. Eau Claire firefighters also said the inside of the house suffered some damage.
