Fence supply store, Penn Fencing of Butler, announced it has transitioned to an employee stock ownership plan to give workers a financial stake in the company.

The company said its goal with the program is to protect and retain top employee talent, and it is currently 100% employee-owned.

Penn Fencing joins other Pennsylvania companies, such as Penn United Technologies, that also have an employee stock ownership plans.
