Henry

William B. “Paw-Paw” Henry, 80, of Middletown, Pa., entered into eternal rest Monday, June 9, 2025, at Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home. He was the loving husband of Donna D. (Wealand) Henry for over 34 years.

Bill was born in New Kensington, Pa., on May 26, 1945, the son of the late William F. Henry and Virginia (Augunstine) Henry.

Bill was a Vietnam War U.S. Navy veteran, stationed on the USS Richard B. Anderson and a member of Milton Grove Methodist Church in Mount Joy and the Lebanon VFW Post 23. Bill was a retired auto repair shop owner/operator and had spent his life in the auto industry. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed hot rod cars and drag racing. He was very proud of his 1955 Chevy Bel Air that he had restored.

Bill’s greatest joy was his family, many of whom affectionately referred to him as “Corky.” He loved spending time and going places with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife; his daughters, Dana L. Gish and husband, Wayne, and Lori A. Berrier and husband, Daniel; his brothers, Robert Henry and wife, Lisa and James Henry and wife, Betty Lou; his sisters, Earla Miller and husband, Lee, and Joyce Myers and husband, Chuck; his brother-in-law, Richard Ybarra; his grandchildren, Nicole, Phillip, Mallory, Addie, Gabriel and Maya; and his great-grandchildren, Rowen and Adelle.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Henry; his mother, Virginia Henry; and his sister, Linda Ybarra.

HENRY — Services for William B. “Paw-Paw” Henry, who died Monday, June 9, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, at his church at 2026 Cloverleaf Road, Mount Joy, Pa. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Burial with military honors will be in Milton Grove Cemetery, Mount Joy, following the service.
