Bike rodeo to support safe biking coming to Butler Township
Children will have a hands-on opportunity to learn safe biking skills at the Butler County Safe Kids Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 14.
The rodeo will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Butler Township Municipal Building, 290 South Duffy Road. It is sponsored by Butler County Safe Kids, and the Butler Bureau of Fire is set to attend.
Events include a bike and helmet safety checks, helmet fittings, learning to use hand signals, learning about street signs and a group bike ride with first responders. A shaved ice truck is also expected at the event.
In case of rain, the rodeo will be delayed to Saturday, June 21, at the same time and location. The event is open to the public.
