Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival rolling into town
The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival has events taking place all weekend throughout Butler County.
The event kicks off Friday at 9 a.m. at Cooper’s lake Campground, with the annual Jeep Invasion from 6 to 10 p.m. in Butler. About 1,000 Jeeps will park throughout downtown, demonstrating many different types and colors of the vehicle for people to peruse through the evening. Pre-registration was required for Jeep owners to display their Jeeps downtown.
The event continues Saturday, with several Bantam driving activities taking place, including Bantam Boot Camp at Bantam Quarry at Kildoo, Bantam Safari at Keystone Safari, several Jeep-driving challenges and a poker run, which takes place throughout the day Saturday.
The fun continues Sunday, with a Bantam blessing by the Christian Jeep Association, and final Jeep competition awards will be announced, including for the Jeep Team Challenge.
