Cranberry Slow Down Campaign set to kick off

Cranberry Township’s annual Slow Down Campaign will run from Friday, June 6 to June 20 to promote road safety for pedestrians and drivers.

The initiative, inspired by the national “Keep Kids Alive Drive 25” program, is a joint effort among the township, police department and local homeowners’ associations. Funded by local businesses and the Cranberry Township Community Chest, the campaign will include radar speed signs, hundreds of yard signs and increased police patrols.

Signs will rotate daily across 29 participating neighborhoods throughout the township. The campaign coincides with the end of the Seneca Valley School District year.
