Connie Marie Lyons, 69, passed away peacefully Friday, May 30, 2025, in Seaford, Del.

Born on Nov. 26, 1955, Connie dedicated over two decades of her life to her work at Walmart, where she was a beloved colleague and friend.

Known for her loving and caring nature, Connie was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She found joy in her daily visits to the senior center to play bingo, indulged in her love for reading and cherished moments spent with her cats.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Jesse) Fryar, Laura (Bill) Lyons, Linda (Steve) Painter; and son-in-law, John Webster. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Zachery (Britany) Fryar, Damien (Bailey) Fryar, Sara Shankle and Tyler Webster; along with four great-grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her infant son, Danny; grandson, Shawn Shankl; her parents, James and Sara Powers; her infant sister, Mary; and her siblings, Judy Burka and David Powers.

LYONS — A celebration of life for Connie Marie Lyons, who died Friday, May 30, 2025, will be held at a later date in both Seaford, Del., and Butler, honoring her memory and the profound impact she had on those around her.
