Two graduating seniors of Butler Senior High School have been selected to receive Starwood Scholarships from the Pittsburgh Foundation.

Leland Anderson and Willow Womack will receive the $5,000 scholarship which can be awarded annually for four years, totaling a maximum of $20,000. The scholarship is available to seniors graduating from Butler and Knoch high schools, who plan to attend a four-year college, according to a news release by the Starwood Scholarship.

Willow is the niece of Richard and Kristy Fundark. She played on and lettered in Butler high school’s lacrosse team, and was involved in several community activities. Willow plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania and major in early childhood education.

Leland is the son of Angela Anderson. Leland lettered three times on the Butler high school football team, and lettered twice in track and field. He also is a three-time Golden Glove champion boxer, a part of the school’s leadership team and the 2025 prom king. Leland plans to attend Westminster College and major in business.
