Mary Ann McKeon, 84, of Mars, passed away Thursday morning, May 29, 2025, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital.

Born in Mars on Dec. 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Frances Kelsey Borland.

A beautician, Mary Ann owned Mary Ann's Beauty Shop in Mars.

She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township and was a member of Mars Junior Women's Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Ray (Kevin) of Butler and Darcy Tumminello of Valencia; a son, Michael McKeon (Stacey) of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Tyler Ray (Tara), Kelsey Shulik (Nathan), Jared and Brenden McKeon and Christian Tumminello; her great-grandchildren, Elliot, Caralina, Waylynn and Hazel; a sister, Joyce Whitfield (Walter) of Mars; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. “Tom” McKeon, whom she married Feb. 5, 1960, and who died May 5, 2019; and by a sister, Grace McWilliams.

MCKEON — Friends of Mary Ann McKeon, who died Thursday, May 29, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, at the funeral home with Father Charles Bober officiating.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
