Police suspect murder-suicide after 2 found dead in Butler home
Butler police are calling the discovery of two people found dead in a Cottage Hill Avenue home a likely murder-suicide.
A man and woman, both 66 of Butler, were found dead Wednesday, May 28, in the city, according to a Thursday news release from Chief Robert O’Neill.
Police responded around 3:45 p.m. to the home following a welfare check and found the man and woman.
Police are seeking next of kin as the investigation continues.
