Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
May 12 — Danielle K. Welch, 40, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 10 incident. Police said Welch had about 1.5 grams of methamphetamine, five hypodermic needles, a small scale and other related paraphernalia.
May 12 — Trina M. Holderman, 36, of Butler, was charged with felony receiving stolen property following a May 11 incident. Police said Holderman was found driving a stolen vehicle.
May 12 — Traci R. Bush, 49, of Butler, was charged with felony theft following a May 11 incident. Police said Bush stole a vehicle.
May 15 — Michael J. Hepler, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol following a May 14 crash. Police said Hepler had a blood alcohol content of 0.261%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
May 15 — Vanessa S. Hunter, 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor controlled substance possession following a March 4 traffic stop. Police said Hunter had suspected methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
May 19 — Merle C. Maharg, 66, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana distribution and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 5 traffic stop. Police said Maharg had a glass smoking pipe, suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia.
May 19 — Brian J. Coughenour, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a March 18 traffic stop. Police said Coughenour showed signs of impairment but refused a chemical blood test.
May 19 — Kimberly D. Heard, 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a March 17 incident. Police said Heard was yelling on the sidewalk.
May 15 — Heather L. Bowser, 43, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following an April 19 incident in Allegheny Township. Police said Bowser showed signs of impairment but refused a chemical breath test.
