Herbal Thymes Club having meeting
The Herbal Thymes Club is having a presentation on cold-hardy fruits that thrive in Pennsylvania’s climate at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road in Buffalo Township.
The presentation will explore figs, honeyberries, pawpaws, persimmons, bramble berries, blackberries, raspberries, elderberries, strawberries, pomegranates and kiwis. The presenter also will bring a “Figatorium” — a mobile greenhouse nursery designed to grow and protect tender fruit plants.
