Ruby “June” (Lydick) Knox, 94, of Hampton Township, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025.

Born June 27, 1930, in Smicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Mary (Gearhart) Lydick.

Ruby was a homemaker, and she was a lifetime member of Hampton Presbyterian Church, as well as a deacon and trustee. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She also owned and operated Hampton Concrete Products along with her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (James) A. King; sons, Charles (Ellen) Knox Jr., Rodger (Susan) Knox, Virgil (Mary) Knox, Reuben (Pamela) Knox and Clifford (Debra) Knox; 29 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Knox Sr.; sisters, Viola Fetterhof, Kathryn Markle and Evelyn Pierce; and granddaughter, Phoebe.

KNOX — The family of Ruby “June” (Lydick) Knox, who died Friday, May 16, 2025, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Hampton Presbyterian Church, Gibsonia. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Ruby will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2942 E. Hardies Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
