Richard Miller
Richard L. Miller, 91, of Butler, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Embassy of Saxonburg with his beloved family at his side.
Born Dec. 20, 1933, in Butler, he was a son of the late J. Milton Miller and Lucille Zang Miller.
Rich retired from ARMCO as a crane operator in 1992, with 34 years of service. He was also an accomplished carpenter and builder.
He was a member of All Saints Parish.
He belonged to the former Bullcreek Sportsmen’s Club.
Most of all, Rich loved his family and he treasured the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leah B. Serafine Miller, whom he married May 29, 1952; three children, Cyndie Stevenson and her husband, Tom, of Butler, Rick Miller and his wife, Pam, of Butler, and Brenda Cammisa and her husband, Tom, of Butler; two sisters, Norma Reep and her husband, Chuck, of Butler, and Donna DeMarco and her husband, Gene, of Butler; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Beth Bonney and Michelle Irion; one son, Randy Miller; one grandson, Randy Scott Miller; one brother, Chub Miller; and one sister, Dorothy Sinz.
MILLER — Friends of Richard L. Miller, who died Sunday, May 25, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH SIDE, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, with the Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
