Robert James “Jim” Christy, 69, of Chicora, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 14, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of the late Robert E. Christy Jr. and the late Marian J. (Covert) Christy.

CHRISTY — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Robert James “Jim” Christy, who died Thursday, May 22, 2025, will be held at a later date determined by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
