Frank D. Gavula, 81, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

He was born in Butler on Sept. 4, 1943, to the late Frank W. and Mary (Mudrick) Gavula.

Frank earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Cincinnati. He loved watching classic film noir, music and concerts, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was the father of Kyle (Lori) and Jenna Gavula; grandfather of Loryn (Dustin) Yockey and Lindsey Gavula; and great-grandfather of Annistyn Kate Yockey. Frank also is survived by his previous wives, JoAnn (Watson) Gavula and Sheila (Blair) McConnell.

Along with his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Adrienne Gavula.
