Ronald Hays, 78, of Butler, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.

He was born in Mars on Sept. 17, 1946, to the late Carl and Ruth (Raisley) Hays.

Ronald worked at the Blind Association and the Goodwill of Pittsburgh for 22 years. He was an avid Steelers fan, was the kindest of all souls with a smile and had a contagious laugh.

Ronald was the beloved husband of Linda (Zielinski) Hays, since their marriage 27 years ago; father of Kathy Weiland and Don and Dan Paul; brother of Nancy Bostaph and Larry Hays; grandfather of Michael and Morgyn Paul and Sara and Stephanie Weiland.

HAYS — Family and friends of Ronald Hays, who died Sunday, May 18, 2025, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
