Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State police, Butler

May 16 — Charleton J. Namachar, 53, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following a March 15 traffic stop in Forward Township. Police said Namachar had a blood alcohol content of 0.158%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

May 16 — Christopher E. Pawlowicz, 63, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor driving under the influence counts, and one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 18 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Pawlowicz tested positive for THC, possessed THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.18%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

May 16 — John P. Dobrowski, 35, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 7 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Dobrowski punched a woman in the head and face multiple times.

May 16 — Michael P. Shipley, 37, of Evans City, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of open lewdness and disorderly conduct following an April 21 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Shipley defecated in a pizza box and served it back to the restaurant.

May 16 — Michael W. Nottage III, 26, of Grindstone, was charged with one misdemeanor driving under the influence count following a March 16 traffic stop in Harmony. Police said Nottage showed signs of impairment but did not submit to a blood test.

May 16 — Matthew R. Double, 30, was charged with misdemeanor evading arrest and two misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession following a May 2 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Double ran from police and had a smoking filter and silver scale with white residue.
