Butler woman accused of threatening group with gun
A Butler woman is accused of threatening a group of women with a firearm during a reported large fight in the city.
Butler Police accused Keanna Elizabeth McClain, 23, of sending a video of a Glock handgun with a 30-round extended magazine with a threatening message to another woman, who was at the fight. Police said McClain can be seen recording the video.
Police said they were dispatched around 11:15 p.m. Friday for a large fight on North Chestnut Street and spoke to a woman who showed them the video.
Police allege a second threatening video was sent showing two black handguns, including the Glock displayed in the other video, but the video was deleted.
Police said a group of individuals, including McClain, arrived outside a home after sending the threatening video, and McClain pointed the handgun at a woman before the group dispersed.
McClain is charged with felony unauthorized carrying of a firearm, misdemeanor terroristic threats and ungraded simple assault. She is being held in Butler County Prison on a $10,000 bond.
